I was able to make it within 1 mile of TH - about a 20 min walk in a 4w drive vehicle. There was one snow drift that required 4 wheel drive, one small downed tree I was able to drive over. Did a lot of postholing until treeline but the snow was nicely frozen for much of above.

We got the highest of any vehicle - about a half a mile from the trailhead this past weekend. There was one snow drift that we attempted to winch through above your car, and with our Jeep we weren't able to get through it (would have taken us too long). Nonetheless, there was one large 50 yard snow field and several drifts above that drift that we would have had to spend several hours winching through as we were postholing to our thighs through these also. There was no way around these. It will take a couple of weeks of sun for all of these to melt enough. All the trees were cut down, however, so it is clear sailing if you can get through the drifts.
