I ran Yale today as training for the Leadville Trail Marathon later this month. The route from Denny Creek is very straightforward, there are a few downed trees below the steep slope at treeline, but other than that nothing to speak of except for great, runner-friendly trail. Full summer conditions!

So I won't being seeing you on the summit this week, Rob? Thanks for the info. It will come in handy next week. Hopefully better weather in the Sawatch than what we encountered on Saturday. Happy to hear the trail is runner-friendly, but I need to know if the trail is slog-friendly. Good luck with the Marathon prep and race!

I guess hiking peaks is too easy that you are now running them. Awesome dude how long did it take?

It was a fun one, ran some of the ascent and all of the descent. Splits were 56:10 to treeline, 1:22:56 to the ridge, 1:37:53 to the summit and 2:35:35 for the RT. I really like that mountain.
