Just want to warn folks to stay as far away as you can from the snow/ice field below the K2/Clark Peak saddle. There were numerous natural rockslides today -- some the size of refrigerators. These slides are occurring in both the morning and the afternoon. The debris is spreading several dozens of feet from the impact areas.

Saw a good-sized slide come down from above the snowfield and send debris flying. Stay to descenders left!

Me too!

I saw at least 4 major slides returning over K2 and several smaller ones as we descended the slopes on 8/27. Sounds like a train wreck in there!
