Climbed Crestone Peak from S. Colony Lakes. Snow is still on BHP, and packed down. So it's there for a while and probably for good. We brought spikes, wore them once. You can skirt around it. But if you want peace of mind - might as well bring them. Peak, Needle and the traverse were completely snow free. |
