Clear of snow and ice until basically the saddle of Sherman and Sheridan. Snow and ice is present on the ridge to summit of Sherman, just tread carefully- no need for spikes in my opinion. Winds however....constant brutally epic wind blowing West to East (the entire way up the west slopes). On the ridge, the wind was so strong my girlfriend was having problems walking the entire way. |
