Light snow on the east face. Micro spikes were useful higher up.

Insignificant snow on the ridge from Casco to Frasco and French.

But we descended from Casco saddle and remaining snow was soft by then. Ridge scramble was fun (albeit short), road walking - not so much

We weren't on the 13ers.com route - we went up the face on climber’s right side after we got tired of side-hilling to the Casco-Frasco saddle. We got into a snow-covered rocky area where the spikes helped get traction on the rock under the snow.
