Grays Peak is still mostly free of snow, but there is packed snow on much of the upper trail that makes microspikes helpful. Conditions are great for a chilly pre-winter walk (almost three weeks until winter). The 20-plus others on the peak Sunday apparently agreed. The road to the trailhead is easy and snow-free. |
