My goal was to sneak in this summit effort between one storm that brought 6 inches and another forecast to bring 14 inches that night. I made it to the 2WD parking lot with no trouble in a RAV4. Someone else managed to drive to the gate and back without chains or getting stuck while I was out. The trail consistently had 6 to 12 inches of snow up to treeline was but was not difficult to follow. Above treeline its hard-packed and wind-blown. Enjoy. |
