The upper part of the mountain (above 13,000') is pretty scoured by wind, there's actually a fair bit of bare ground up there. Even the snow covered parts of the trail are pretty easy to find.

Conditions of Stevens Gulch & Torreys

Do you happen to have any pics of the conditions up in Stevens Gulch or of the ridge to Torreys? I am assuming you used snowshoes for at least part of the route below 13K or not so much? Thanks in advance.

No pics, sorry. I really couldn't see much because of the blowing snow and problems with my goggles and glasses icing over. I used snowshoes from the winter trailhead to the summit, even on the wind scoured areas there were pockets of deep stuff, so it was just as easy to keep the snowshoes on.
