Descended CA to Zapata Falls last night - no snow on W ridge or in tree-wack down to N Zapata trail. The trail is in good condition but a bit difficult to follow at the stream crossing (by headlamp). Ridge to connecting 13ers and 14ers dry. Talus slopes above Lily Lakes looked dry too. No techy snow gear used from Little Bear to CA.

EP -> 13660A took longer than LB -> Blanca. Scrambly.

Did you get a good look at the C2 couloir above S Zapata lake? I think it's just off to the right of your photo. Curious about the conditions for this weekend, thx!

Couple hundred ft of non-bypassable snow? Upper basin dry at least.

Corndiggs the C2 couloir is about half melted out. Lower half is loose crap, upper half is not-so-great snow. I was not a big fan.
