Hiked Torreys and Grays from Loveland Pass on Saturday. Wore microspikes car to car, you can leave the snowshoes at home. Snow varied from light and fluffy (still fresh from Friday) to windblown and firm. Snow was continuous to Grizzly/Torreys saddle and then conditions varied from bare ground/scree to shin/knee deep snow. |
