The willows were muddy in the morning, but mostly dry on the way back. A good pair of waterproof hiking shoes do the trick. If you go higher up the creek, there are two logs that can be used for crossing. I would just take my shoes/ socks off and walk across, the water is refreshing and not deep at all.
