Some snow patches, but all very avoidable. We drove my RAV4 to a half mile below the water crossing. I think we could have made it over, but I'd suggest a vehicle with higher clearance.

Do you know how long the hike was from the creek crossing? Was it really that bad up to the crossing or were you just taking it easy? I’m going up Friday and I’m hoping to drive a Subaru Crosstrek (9 inches of clearance) up to the creek crossing.

I have about 6.5" clearance, and just had to fix a bent control arm haha. The receiver hitch got the brunt of the impact. I want to say it was just over 5 miles to the top once we crossed the creek. Took 3hr 20min from our camping spot (big pull off with a fire pit to the left of the road) and we took it pretty easy. I’m sure 9" will be fine with some navigating.

That’s what I needed to hear. My Tahoe should have no problems making it to the creek crossing. Heading up there tomorrow
