Headed up today and had a great time - bluebird to start and scattered clouds on the finish, snowpack was firm enough to forego snowshoes on the ascent. The decent was fine, only because I had snowshoes. Lots of groups were getting stuck post-holing their way out. So bring snowshoes or other floatation and have a blast. |
