Started the climb at about 9:45am. Weather was perfect, sunny and cool outside with no wind. Took the dogs on their first 14er (blue heeler puppy and german shepherd mix) and they LOVED it. Highly recommend this hike for beginners and adventurous dogs. This was my 11th 14er and I would say its the easiest so far. Some parts of the climb had ice but you could avoid it, and it melted as the day went on. My regular hiking shoes were fine and I didn't slip once. Took us about 4-5 hours total, great conditions and great climb!
