Trail is passable to about 1 mile from summer trail head with high clearance 4x4. Vehicle in front of us used chains to get this far, we stayed in their tracks and were able to get their without issue. There has been a significant amount of melting on the road and unless it gets very cold or we get new snow you should be able to make it to the summer trailhead with a 4x4 vehicle without issue by next weekend.
