We parked at the 2WD TH with 2WD vehicles. If you wanted, you could definitely proceed from there in a 2WD for a 1/4 mile or so. There are numerous parking spots. Eventually you'll hit a steep/wet slope that I would not try to go up in a 2WD. Saw 5 4WD vehicles at or on their way towards the Huron Peak Trail.
