Status Update
The road is mostly snow packed past the 7 miles to TH sign. I was able to go about 3.5 miles from there in a jeep wrangler without too much difficulty. It took me a little over 4 miles to get to the Shav/Tab & CO Trail junction from where I parked.

dehrlich101	Yo Mad Mike 3/12/2012 11:54pm Was there a ton of snow on the colorado trail? Hoping to do section 14 at the end of the month.
Dad Mike	CO Trail 8/12/2014 11:13pm Yes...lots of snow on the CT. I looped around to the other side of Shavano Lake and descended from Jones Peak. I hooked up with the CT and took it back to my orginal junction with the Shav trail. The mile on the CT was the hardest mile of the day. Snow was knee deep in most places.
