I was up there this morning & there is absolutely NO snow or ice.
2WD seemed to be fine for about the first 12-13 miles (saw a Chevy Impala flying by me as I was going about 20-25), then at about mile 13, I would recommend a high clearance vehicle, but it can easily be avoidable by car by going around into smaller rough patches of dirt path rather than following the tire tracks. There were a couple of deep dips, NOT POTHOLE, dips, that could easily make a car or SUV bottom out. I had no problems when I took it at a slow pace, and the areas were marked with cones.
