Clear and dry to the top coming from the east. About 2 miles west of the pass, there is a bit of an ice flow (see picture) that looks much like the one on the Princeton Road - probably 100 feet long. With chains or studded snow tires, it should be doable but as I had neither, I opted to park and hike Finnback Knob from there. Didn‘t go down the west side of the pass beyond FS150 so no idea what the conditions there are.
