The road is pretty rough..There is one spot as you climb past the Josephine Mine about 2/3 of the way up where the road is really ripped up. It‘s still possible with a 2WD truck and skillful driving but passenger cars risk serious damage. Please remember UPHILL traffic has the right of way. When you see the sign "Private Property next 1.4 Miles" you are about to begin the bad section..
