2013-09-22 Wild Basin TH closed. As I posted for the Longs Peak TH, the same applies at Wild Basin Area which serves Sandbeach Lake TH & Copeland Lake TH 9/22/2013 I found a barricade on the road closure leading to the trailhead/parking lot. The sign says: TEMPORARY CLOSURE: DUE TO FLOODING AND STRUCTURAL DAMAGE THIS AREA IS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE Eagle Eye
2011-09-03 Easy road all the way to the trailhead. The road maybe a little skinny and the traffic was on and off because of labor day weekend, but it is a decent road all the way in. I should mention that the trailhead is now called Sandbeach Lake trailhead. 14erkid
