Monster5	Sweet! 7/26/2013 6:22am Nice pics! A scrambler's dream with all sorts of options. We pulled out the rope too for Friction, despite zero protection. Supposedly, there's an old piton in there somewhere. Interesting that you like scrambling in the FFs. I always felt they were too flexible and didn't transfer weight well.

maverick_manley	Thanks! 7/26/2013 5:13pm Monster - I don't like the FFs once the scrambling starts getting technical. Agreed that they feel too flexible. I think they're generally great for anything up to 5.2. I like them on the descents as well... short steps, faster throughput. Ryan: Hopefully we can get together for a climb one of these days Sarah: It was a bit more complex than I expected. Didn't think a ridge would serve up route-finding issues. Otina: Coordinating these things seems tough with everyone having a life . I'm pretty glad we got such a sweet group together for CP last Winter.
ChicagoMike	Nice Pics 7/26/2013 6:24pm Probably my favorite all time climb. I remember the V pitch well even though it has been 12 years since I climbed it. And the step at the end of wall street is still the most exposure I have experienced.

This looks like a world of difference and a well earned summit. Hope to get out with you soon my man. Thanks for the inspirational report and the humor that comes along with it.
Ridge runner	I agree 7/26/2013 8:54pm Open book tests are generally harder. Congrats on getting this - it had to feel pretty good standing on top and looking out over the valley. How would you compare the exposure, route finding, and general effort to something like Old Baldy? Nice blog, btw.

Our wish-lists appear similar - the timing is what we have to figure out. Steph: Something as treacherous as the sharp blades of alpine tundra strewn on baldy requires the smoothing rythms of Ace of Base to overcome. Heather: Duct tape doesn't hold as well as sewn on bicycle inner tube. That's quality
