I like that. I like that a lot.

The beer stash for the Gore Range deproach is a phenomenal call too. About as solid of a Saturday as one can get, Ben.

Thanks for sharing the journey with us all...

...looks like you got some good ole solitude there, Ben. Nice ridge run, man! Well done. You covered some ground there for sure. Kristine, pups, and I are hoping for the same this upcoming weekend up on Skier's, Climber's, Solitude, & Vista.

Darin and I went up Peak W a while back and I won't ever forget that breathtaking view over towards X and Z. They've been on my short list ever since. Your report clearly shows what I've been missing. Nice write up with great pics and plenty of beta. Looks like a fine day in the hills.

Just a little farther!

I never thought of connecting all those together, after getting to Solitude, it was back down the big grass slopes to Pitkin. With all these Gore TR's going up, I am feeling a need to do something myself. There is not much left to do that somebody else has already done and written about! The Gores are getting smaller by degrees! Enjoyed the tremendous pictures!

When you're ready for that camping trip, give me a call. That's one heck of a day Ben. Excellent report!

mennoguy - It was good to meet you too man! G'luck when you head up there over Labor Day, it's an incredible set of peaks.

Kevin - I thought the register needed to go in the TR, if nothing else for Furthermore. And yes, the beer stash in the creek is becoming a staple, it's more or less the 11th essential at this point.

Brandon - Thanks! Have a great time up there when you go and, again, it'd be great to get out with you someday. Gores would be perfect...

kimo - Peak W eh? More to explore in the Gore for me as well. Thanks for the comment.

boudreaux - They are getting smaller, but hopefully not too small. The range will always hold secrets I'm sure.

Floyd - Yes! I was thinking when I'm old and can't really hike peaks anymore, just head up there with a big ass tent and a bunch of beer. We can use llamas .

Steve - Thank you! Have a great time up there!

Awesome job dude. 10 hours RT? It looks like the pappersons have embraced the Helmutism...? It's always great to see familiar names on a register.

You've got quite the eye, camera, and taste for peaks. Nice combo.

Our famed and rather disappointing views from Vista et al were something like this:
