Great weekend for a Basin Trip......
Stopped in Ouray on the way down. Grabbed some Beers and Burgers at O'Briens. The new 50/50 Burger is Dam good.
Hopped the train out of Silverton and Packed it up in from Needleton. The trail up is in great condition.
Set up camp and drank Tequila and Scotch.
Climbed Sunlight and Windom on Friday. Lots of Scrambling on Rocks and Stuff.
Drank Scotch and Baileys and Coffee.
Climbed Eolus and North Eolus on Saturday. More Scrambling on Rocks, Catwalks and Ledges. And a Goat Licked my Hat.
Drank some Scotch and a bit of Whiskey because we ran out of Scotch.
Packed it back down to Needleton that afternoon.
Set up camp above the Tracks.
Drank Whiskey in the River....
Woke up the next morning before the Train arrived and had Baileys and Coffee for Breakfast. Ackmonster got attacked by a Chipmunk and a Marten.
Caught the Train back and drank all the Amber Ales they had.
Burgers and Beer in Ouray at the Ouray Brewing Company.....

And Goats.. Not a bad way to experience Chicago Basin. Good meeting you both, we sure lucked out on the weather. Those left in the basin are going to be wet this week.

We hiked those two mountains on friday too, we also drank our fair share. However, our group enjoyed citrus moonshine and cinnamon whiskey. We even met some fellow hikers who shared their homemade apple pie hootch
