Summit counties iconic Buffalo Mountain....you know the one that dominates your your view as you exit the Eisenhower Tunnel. She is a beaut of a mountain with several glorious ski options off its twin summits (north and south summit humps) which bookend the peaks cauldron. Earlier in the season we ski'd the southeast face off the southern summit. With the more stable conditions of spring we decided to go back for the popular Silver Couloir off the northern summit. A perfect 3000' vertical line!

Beautiful pics. I have a Gore trip planned for this weekend and can't wait to get out there. Can you tell me what elevation the snow started? Trying to get an idea of what the approach will be like.

Thanks...Mike
