Winter's End at Yankee Boy Basin

Taking a quick trip from Denver, I enjoyed each of these peaks on successive days from June 24 through June 26. Basically, three half-days of hiking.

June 24: Drive from Denver, climb of Mt Emma from 11,200 on Governor Basin road in afternoon (roughly 2 pm - 7:30 pm).
June 25: Cirque Mountain south slopes, from start of Yankee Boy Basin road. (Road made treacherous by running water about a half mile in.)
June 26: Gilpin Peak partial NE ridge, partial E face, from same. Drive home.

Part One - Emma

Part 2 - Cirque & Gilpin

Emma I think is a good climb for any season; Cirque and Gilpin seem best to me as spring snow climbs (for those of us who can't ski/board them).
