On September 11th 2016 Jim, Kristi and I climbed Mt. Helen and did the class 3 traverse to Father Dyer. The traverse awesome scrambling with moderate exposure. The route finding was relatively straight forward. From Father Dyer we hiked over to Crystal Peak and then hit Peak 10 before closing the loop. Our route was just under 8 miles and 4,000 vertical. It took us roughly 7 hours. Given that it was Colleen's birthday we texted her pictures from each of the 4 summits.
I've been wanting to do this route for awhile. Great trip report and super helpful!
