Hiked Elbert via the south Elbert trail on 6/27/05. Left from the top of the 4wd road at 7:30 and were back by 12:15. It was snow free except for a small patch about 30 yards long above 13000 feet. The trail was starting to get a little crowded. Those still on the mountain much after us were probably hit by rain/snow.
