 Belford Conditions

Climbed Belford today (5/23/05)

Weather was great and no clouds in the area for the duration of the hike. Missouri Gulch trail was dry until the bridge crossing and then snow covered from there until the ascent begins at 12,000 ft. Rest of it was fairly dry. Enjoyed glissading some of the north chutes on the way down.

The most frustrating part was between the log bridge and the cabin because of continuous post-holing, and the trail is hard to follow.

Snowshoes wouldnt have been necessary, but gaiters surely helped.
