 Missouri Gulch 6/4

Mt. Belford and Mt. Oxford via Missouri Gulch 6/4

The weather was a little cold, and Friday night had brought a snow dusting to the area. It made the hike cold, but after you got moving and when the wind wasn't gusting at 40 mph the conditions where comfortable The cold weather froze all the soft snow, so we didn't have to posthole at all!

Snowshoes at not needed, the few areas where snow is still at has fairly well cut trail. I would however recommend cold weather gear if you plan on doing both Belford and Oxford. The saddle between the two was freezing hurricane wind. I was in full winter gear and very cold.
