The hike itself was way long but uneventful, great trail all the way to the bottom of the ridge and then fairly well cairned routes to the summit. A few options however none that really stood out as better or worse then the rest. Plenty of loose rock so careful where you step.

Took me 11 hours round trip from the bottom of the 2wd parking... Those people on their ATV's seemed so happy buzzing by me going up and down the trail...

While walking up the road I realized my Volvo could easily have made it about 2.5 to 3 miles up the road however due to some very expensive busted transmission lines last year I now get all like hyperventilating when I see a pointy pebble on the road so I stopped way early.

I found this one on the trail and I want it for xmas!:
