 Bierstadt.....the Crazy Train

Wife and I just moved to CO from Montana a month ago. OUr first 14er was Elbert. Decided to do Bierstadt on Sat. An easy but crazy crowded hike. WE didn‘t get started until 8:10. The Crazy Train of people was amazing. I would think that CO would institute a # of people that is allowed to hike per day or something, crazy busy. Saw lots of people leaving orange peels and bananna peels at the top, obviously don‘t know that stuff like that doesn‘t break down nearly as fast at 14k. Anyway, a good hike, 2 14ers down and Grays and Torreys next. Car to car with two dogs in 3:45.
