About 1/4 mile past the trailhead to the north, we popped up our trailer at a wide point in the road, and had a very peaceful night‘s sleep. Not a single car drove by between 9:30 PM and 5:00 AM on a Saturday night, July 21. Cell phone reception (Verizon) was not good here, but was decent 1 mile further up the road.
