 5th 14er this summer....Quandry

Wife and I left Vail at 5am. Arrived at the trailhead and started hiking at 6:15ish. Three groups had started before we did, we passed one group and were the 3rd group on the summit. The hike up was straight forward and pretty easy. Saw the mom goat and kid on the way up which was cool. Inversion clouds were hanging over Hoosier Pass and the valley beyond all day but the weather was great otherwise. Windy and cold on the ridge but actually calm and nice on the summit. A great hike! We made the trip car to car in 3:40ish and were able to be back in Vail in time to eat a big meal and watch the early football games!
