 Huron Peak, North Ridge

Decided to climb despite the weather reports. Glad we did! Started at 0515. It was a little cold but the forcasted storm never affected our hike. Summited at 0820. Definately windy at the peak (probably below freezing wind chill, only stayed up there for 10 min.) Clouds were moving in as we started the descent at about 0830. Only saw 4 other hikers on the trail the whole day. Not alot of snow up there yet, a few patches over the trail above tree line but that was it. The 4wd portion of the road does require some clearance on your vehicle. My stock Toyota Tacoma made it through with no difficulty.
