 winter on Bierstadt

It was a beautiful day on Bierstadt. Sorry, but the camera didn‘t work in the cold temps. Cold with the wind, but the views were well worth it. Lots of snow from the weekend storm. The high peaks around were covered so much that it looked like Jan or Feb conditions.

The hike up was fine - except for a few belly deep drifts and the ocational strong wind gusts. No snowshoes necessary yet, but I was really glad I had my gaiters.

Route finding was a little tricky with all the new snow but not terrible. It was a good day out!

What kind of camera do you have that didn't work at cold temperature?
