 the knees knows

So, my hubby (Green knight) posted a trip report. He covered it all and posted some pics.
These are the follow up pics of our foray into the lake that he referenced.

Followed by some pics of my boys (ShadyHater69) and (Green Knight) indulging in a little Rocky Mountain Spring Water done Coors style on the summit of Huron Peak.

Of coarse, I am enjoying a banana and 4 Advil instead of beer. (thinking back, not sure I made the right choice!) LOL

This was my second 14er with Zach and my Sixth with Bob. Oddly enough, it was the most challenging yet for me. Lots of tweeks and ouches up and back down.

Ran the gammut of emotions as we ascended and was darn right mad by the time we make it down!

All in all, I would recommend Huron Peak to anyone who wants beauty and challenge all wrapped up in a long, 9.5 mi. hike. In the end, the friends you make the journey with make the trip all worth while.

Peace.
