 The Shermanator

This morning we drove up from Denver to hike Mt. Sherman. It was WHOLIO's last weekend in town so we had to send her off with a 14er under her belt. Abbie joined in for the fun aswell. We parked at around 12,000 ft wher the road was gated and started our trek.

The girls made a pit stop one of the mines near the trail for a bano break so I decided to take off for the mountain on the other side of the saddle - Sheridan.

There were a couple short snowfields to cross, but other than that it was pretty striaght forward. I cought back up with the crew for the summit ridge of Sherman and we made our way up to the top.

Abbie was off to the races with a full bladder a few minutes after arriving - we started back to the car a few minutes later. Overall it was a great day on the mountain. Scott, we missed you buddy - hope all is well in MA.
