Shermen (Short, Sweet, and to the Point)

Ten of us and 2 dogs drove up fourmile. There is a sign eventually that says "4 wheel drive only" but if you have a low clearence car I recommend not going pass that sign because the bottom of you car will scrape!

Started a bit late (~9) and accidently took the wrong trail. Eventually we reconnected with the trail. Hike was everything that I heard, EASY and SHORT!

The last portion of the hike is very narrow and there were a lot of people on mountain that day so there was a lot of slowing down and stopping and waiting. Once you reach the false summit it widens and flattens.

Once on the peak we ate lunch and sat around for about 30 minutes, then we heard the thunder kick in.... We decided it probably be best to leave.

About 1/2 down the clouds moved in over us. I hoped everyone on top had the sense to come down because the top was not the place to be!

By the time we made it back to our car it was raining hard with those small drops that hurt when they hit you!

My dog's paws were bleeding again (this happened on Quandary). Lesson learned I will buy him some boots for our next venture!
