 Sherman - Standard Route

Climbed Sherman via the Standard Route. Left the gate at 7 am - the only problem was that all the rocks were covered with about a quarter inch of frost, which made the climb a little tricky (especially for my boys ages 10 and 12), but it was nice to be able to loiter at the summit (9:20 am) and not worry about storms. The only snow to speak of was on top - really not a factor in the climb. Though no fourteeners are "easy", this one probably comes the closest and makes a great introductory climb for kids
