 Mount Hope - East Ridge

A hope for no wind answered . . . Mount Hope. A welcome break from Saturday's winds . . .

Trail clear of snow all the way to about 13,600. East ridge had advertised snow field guarding summit, but snow was in great shape for crampons on the way up and a nice elbow arrest on the way down.

Hello Kimo,

The thumbs up is appreciated. The website is a lot of fun to add to and I enjoy doing it, especially when I find that someone else enjoys it as well.

to your website. Over the past year I've read most of the trip reports on your site and so far have enjoyed every one of them. You've climbed many of the Front Range 13ers that I want to attempt this year. Your detailed reports help me understand the effects of seasonal weather patterns. The route and conditions information is excellent. Thanks for the resource.
