Congrats on getting it done without incident. I can just picture you guys (Marc, especially) having to scratch through those boney sections. Yikes. I'm sure El Diente was more enjoyable?

Wow guys, looks like a tough one, but what a beautiful day and place. I was gripped just reading the description of the top part of the descent, let alone actually doing it!

Gorgeous pics too. Well done on skiing the NE face. Good pics for beta on Wilson-El Diente too...I'll be down there over Memorial Day weekend.

Sorry to hear about Brian's troubles, sounds like he handled it ok. That is an awesome line but apparently it's hard to get it in just the right conditions.

Good to finally get out with you and Brian. Lets try to make sure this isn't the only occasion this season that our peak objectives align. Where did you take that first shot from?

The cursing aid ...

Used it many times myself. 8) Glad it worked for y'all. No Coors ... I KNOW we can thank Brian for that little blessing. Thanks for posting. Happy trails!

That is in the top 5 of the most gripping common 14er descents, IMO. Way to get it done.

FYI: The entrance is always sketchy, thin and very steep from the beta I have seen. Your conditions pics look pretty typical, and very similar to when Jordan and I skied it. Easyrider used a different entrance I think, skiers right off the summit. It sounded a bit better, but hard to know without doing both. He's a bad MF.

Thanks! Appreciate the comments all.

Brandon, g'luck down there over Memorial Day.

Presto, the cursing aid came in big on this one, and yes, Brian does not allow Coors consumption in his presence.

Joe, thanks man.

It looks like everyone skied this with style! This is a daring route, Congratulations! I'm back in Colorado again, and I'm looking to ski a few more before the end of May comes.

whole school of those mothers littered the upper pitch. That definitely made for a more exciting descent!! Thanks for the great weekend guys!!
