Well that's depressing. I was looking at the one for Colorado as a whole, not Arkansas River Basin. Statewide, we're at 91% of last year. Youre right though, a lot of the snow has fallen in the San Juans.
You cannot stay on the summit forever; you have to come down again. So why bother in the first place? Just this: What is above knows what is below, but what is below does not know what is above. One climbs, one sees. One descends, one sees no longer, but one has seen. There is an art of conducting oneself in the lower regions by the memory of what one saw higher up. When one can no longer see, one can at least still know. - Rene Daumal

Looks like 68% of average statewide. Last year was a below average year. I think we got spoiled by 2011.

^^^ Nice video. That's a fun cliff at 1:00 and doesn't see too much traffic. Where you go next is one of my favorites. Can be tough to end up on the line you spotted from the road until you know the area better.

What kind of snowfall totals has everyone received so far? A friend who teaches at Cheyenne Mountain in Colorado Springs said they had school called off last night and I saw where Widefield had a good 6-8 inches.
