Kalispell, MT hiking

Post by sad2 »

Hello

For those of you familiar with hiking around Kalispell, MT, I've got 7 hours in/near the town before my parents fly in. We'll be entering Glacier when they arrive. However, I'm looking for a nice hike outside of Glacier before they arrive.

Some parameters, although I'm flexible.

6-14 miles
No need for a summit
A hike to a nice lake is fine
I'll have a rental car, but no 4wd or clearance.
Ideally within 30 minutes of the airport

Do any of you have recommendations for a state park or other hike near Kalispell, MT for this Friday, July 4th?

Thanks.

Check out Jewel Basin. Lots of good loops with lakes.
