California Hiking Groups/Classes

Post by funkyhiker »

Moving to California at the end of summer and just wondering what resources there are for the high peaks there. Anything like 14ers.com or the CMC?

Thanks!

I moved to Northern California (Bay Area) about a year ago and still looking for a climbing partner. I don't know what part of the state you are moving to but let me know and we can possibly put something together.

Also for the southern Cascades in northern California (Shasta, Lassen, etc.) check out cascadeclimbers.com they have quite a few active members from that area.
