Maybe it comes from climbing / hiking a lot, but when I see a beautiful mountain, my first thought is not "how can I damage this wonderful peak for my personal profits".
Life is a mountain, not a beach.

Great character movie and the climbing scenes
were realistic enough, not like the hokey crap
thrown at us these days.
Yeah, no nitroglycerin. :o Maybe movie goers these days have such short attention spans that they wouldn't sit through watching someone hammer pitons?
