That's odd - I watched his spot update about 15 minutes ago at 8560m.
Now 1 minute ago it updated with him at 6100m and the message is that he is back at camp...?

Alan's audio dispatch from the summit of K2 indicates they summited about 7:30 am local time. That would be 9:30 pm Central, 8:30 pm Mountain. Congratulations, Alan!
