Hello to All,
I have July 15-19 free and will be in Sweden. I was thinking to either climb Kebnekaise in northern Sweden or to head to the Lofoten Islands in Norway and do some rock climbing. I was wondering if anybody has any information about these activities or any recommendations?? I have several mountaineering summits of 4000/5000+m peaks but am pretty much a noob to rock work...have been in gyms, but never the real deal. I would want to hire a guide or teacher if I went to Lofoten.
Thanks for any info

Lofoten looks like a really cool area! I don't have any first hand info, but here's what I found on Mountain Project.

Most of the routes there seem to be multi-pitch trad climbing, going with a guide is probably your best choice since you're new to rock climbing. A Google search found these guys, but obviously I have no experience with them.

Thank you Polar! These islands look beautiful and may be a chance to something on rock, which I am not used to.
