Trekking in Nepal since earthquake?

Post by SharonH »

Has anyone been trekking in Nepal since the earthquake, specifically the trek from Lukla to Everest Base Camp? What were the conditions of the trail and of the villages along the trail? Conditions in Kathmandu and ability to visit some of the more popular temples and areas in Kathmandu?

I have not been there since the earthquake but I understand things are at least "good enough". I am leading two treks to base camp as fundraisers for Tiny Hands International; they fight the sex trafficking of Nepali girls as their primary mission. You can see the itinerary I've planned at tinyhandstrek.com.
